Location: Huntingdon (PE29)Duration: PermanentHours: 7.30am - 4.30pm Monday - Thursday, 7.30am - 12.30pm Fridays (37 hours per week)Salary: -26000 - -28000 dependent on experienceJob Reference: 36119Polytec is seeking a reliable Warehouse and Packing Operative to support day to day dispatch and warehouse activities for our client based in Huntingdon. This is a hands on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work in a fast paced environment.Responsibilities- Receiving and checking incoming deliveries - Booking materials into an ERP system and storing stock correctly - Inspecting and securely packing finished goods - Including correct paperwork and scanning items into finished goods - Assisting with order picking, shipping labels and despatch preparation - Kitting materials to production areas - Operating forklift trucks (counterbalance/flexi) - Carrying out stock checks and maintaining a safe, tidy warehouseRequirements- Previous warehouse experience - Forklift experience preferred - Experience packing high value goods advantageous - Knowledge of electronic components beneficial - Experience with Syspro ERP useful- Good attention to detail and reliabilityPlease contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply below!
