Warehouse Administrator
InstaStaff are currently recruiting for a Production/ Warehouse Administrator to join a manufacturing company in Aston.
As the Production Administrator you will be responsible for providing effective administrative support to the warehouse operation, ensuring that materials, production orders and finished goods are processed accurately and efficiently in line with customer requirements.
The role involves booking in incoming stock, coordinating production requirements, maintaining accurate records, preparing dispatch documentation and organising transport to ensure orders are completed and delivered on time.
Duties of the Production/ Warehouse Administrator will include:
- Book in incoming stock and materials accurately via ERP system.
- Check deliveries against relevant documentation and report any discrepancies.
- Process and maintain accurate production orders, paperwork and computer records.
- Coordinate production requirements and monitor the progress of customer orders.
- Liaise with General Manager, Sales, Warehouse and Transport to ensure orders are completed and dispatched on time.
- Maintain accurate stock, production and material records.
- Raise dispatch paperwork, delivery notes and other documentation as required.
- Organise transport runs and liaise with carriers to arrange collections and deliveries.
- Ensure transport requirements, delivery instructions and customer requirements are communicated accurately.
- Monitor outstanding production and dispatch orders and highlight any delays or issues.
- Update ERP system with production, stock, order and dispatch information.
- Assist with investigating stock discrepancies, production issues and customer queries.
- Ensure all production and dispatch documentation is completed and scanned accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
- Support the production and warehouse teams with general administrative duties and continuous improvement activities.
The ideal Production/ Warehouse Administrator will have:
- Previous administration experience, preferably within a manufacturing, engineering, warehouse or metals environment.
- Experience of stock control, goods in, dispatch or transport administration would be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office and experience with stock or production management systems.
- Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines in a busy production environment.
- A practical understanding of production, stock control and order processing would be advantageous.
The salary for the Production/ Warehouse Administrator will be circa -28,000
Hours of work for the Production / Warehouse Administrator will be Monday-Thursday 6.00am-2.30pm , Friday 6.00am-12.00pm
