Ward Manager
Salary: £50,000 - £52,519 per annum D.O.E
Location: York, Yorkshire
Hours: 35, Full-time days

We are seeking a Ward Manager to provide expert clinical leadership. The Ward Manager will lead, support, and mentor the team to deliver high-quality care that promotes recovery and wellbeing for all patients."
Ward Manager Duties:
- Lead and coordinate the nursing team to deliver high-quality care.
- Oversee daily ward operations and clinical services.
- Ensure professional accountability for the ward's clinical care.
- Manage and deliver direct patient care while modelling best clinical practice.
- Promote and monitor safe, effective care standards.
- Enhance the care experience for all patients.

Ward Manager Requirements:
- RMN or RNLD qualification.
- Proven ward or large team management experience.
- Skilled in leading, managing, and motivating teams.
- Experience with complex care/rehab services.
- Mentorship in Practice (MIP) or willingness to complete it
- Strong written, verbal, and digital communication skills.
- Solid understanding of Clinical Governance.
- Expertise in clinical risk assessment and staff development.
- Experience organising staff training.
- Confident in constructively challenging staff behaviours.
