Our client is a renowned hospice located in the heart of Headingley, Leeds. They specialise in providing expert palliative care to individuals with life-limiting conditions, offering vital support to both patients and their families during challenging times.
As a Ward Manager (RGN) , you will:
- Lead and support the in-patient unit, ensuring high standards of palliative care.
- Assess potential service users in consultation with the Head of Clinical Services.
- Plan effective duty rotas and provide out-of-hours clinical support.
- Liaise with health and social care professionals to coordinate care delivery.
- Apply legal policies for identifying and supporting vulnerable adults.

The ideal Ward Manager (RGN) will:
- Be a Registered Nurse with specialist palliative care experience.
- Hold or be working towards a post-registration qualification in Palliative Care.
- Have proven experience in leading and managing clinical teams.
- Demonstrate excellent negotiation and conflict management skills.
- Possess knowledge of healthcare legislation and best clinical practices.
