Make a Difference When It Matters Most Peabody is looking for a dedicated Waking Nights Support Worker to support young people aged 16-25 with high support needs during overnight hours. You''ll play a vital role in maintaining a safe, secure, and supportive environment while helping young people progress towards independence. This is a rewarding opportunity to support vulnerable young people, providing reassurance, practical support, and safeguarding throughout the night. Key Responsibilities Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and security of residents and the service overnight. Conduct regular building and welfare checks. Respond appropriately to emergencies and incidents. Address tenancy-related issues, including noise and anti-social behaviour. Provide emotional support and guidance to residents. Build positive relationships and encourage engagement within the service. Support and de-escalate challenging situations when required. Complete accurate records, reports, and handovers for day staff. Promote independence, safeguarding, and positive outcomes for young people. About You Experience working with vulnerable young people aged 16-25 within social housing, education, supported housing, or the charity sector.
