Make a Difference Through the Night Peabody is looking for a dedicated Waking Nights Support Worker to support young people aged 16-25 with high support needs. You''ll play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, and supportive environment overnight while helping residents progress towards independence. This is an opportunity to make a real impact by supporting vulnerable young people who may be experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, or other complex needs. Key Responsibilities Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and security of residents throughout the night. Conduct regular building and welfare checks. Respond appropriately to emergencies and incidents. Manage tenancy-related issues, including noise, anti-social behaviour, and smoking. Provide emotional support and reassurance to residents. Build positive relationships and encourage a strong sense of community. De-escalate challenging situations and manage risk effectively. Complete accurate records, reports, and handovers. Promote independence, safeguarding, and positive outcomes for young people. About You Experience supporting vulnerable young people aged 16-25 within social housing, education, supported housing, or the charity sector.
