We have an exciting opportunity for a Waking Nights Support Coach in our Homeless Provision based in Southport. The role is shift based, working 8pm till 8am with a 3 on 3 off rota, 40.25 hours per week. New Start is a family-run, not-for-profit organisation, we deliver a diverse range of homelessness projects and temporary housing solutions across Merseyside. We aim to enhance lives by offering good quality accommodation with structured support. The Role You will be part of a team that delivers a strengths-based service, allowing each person who accesses the project to thrive and develop, gain greater independence, and succeed to a more permanent housing solution. You will complete Health and Safety checks and deal with any incidents that may occur through the evening. You will oversee the safety of residents and crash bed users, as well as the security of the building. You will undertake administrative tasks as requested by support workers or management. You ll need to keep records of everything, so will have experience of updating case records and incident management. You will be a confident person and will be required to lone work through the night, although you will have the support of an on-call manager. Who we are looking for.
