The Role

We are looking for a passionate, polished and personable Waiter / Chef de Rang to join the team at an exclusive and highly prestigious private members'' club in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional who takes genuine pride in delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for discerning members and their guests.

As a Waiter / Chef de Rang, you will play an important role in ensuring every guest receives a seamless, highly personalised service. You will have excellent attention to detail, strong knowledge of food and beverage, and a natural ability to anticipate guests'' needs.

At this level of hospitality, discretion, professionalism and consistency are essential. The successful candidate will understand that it is often the smallest details that make the biggest difference.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver warm, attentive and highly personalised service to members and their guests.

- Take responsibility for your section, ensuring it is maintained to the highest possible standards throughout service.

- Take food and beverage orders accurately and confidently, offering knowledgeable recommendations where appropriate.

- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of menus, ingredients, wines and beverages.

- Anticipate members'' and guests'' needs and consistently exceed their expectations.

- Build strong relationships with regular members, recognising preferences and providing a genuinely personalised experience.

- Ensure food and beverages are served promptly, correctly and to the highest standards.

- Maintain exceptional standards of presentation, cleanliness and organisation throughout the restaurant and service areas.

- Work closely with the kitchen, bar and wider front-of-house team to ensure a smooth and seamless service.

- Handle guest requests, queries and dietary requirements with professionalism and attention to detail.

- Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality when dealing with high- profile members and guests.

- Assist with setting up and closing down service areas as required.

- Process orders and payments accurately and professionally.

- Support stock management, replenishment and other operational duties when required.

- Follow all health and safety, food hygiene and licensing procedures.

- Support the wider team wherever required to maintain the club''s exceptionally high standards.

About You

We''re looking for someone who is:

- Passionate about luxury hospitality and delivering exceptional service.

- Experienced as a Waiter, Chef de Rang or in a similar high-end front-of-house role.

- Experienced within a luxury hotel, private members'' club, fine dining restaurant or similarly prestigious environment.

- Warm, personable and naturally engaging with members and guests.

- Highly knowledgeable about food, wine and beverages.

- Confident discussing menus, ingredients and recommendations with guests.

- Naturally discreet and understands the importance of confidentiality.

- Extremely attentive to detail, with a genuine desire to exceed expectations.

- Well presented, polished and professional at all times.
