A fast-growing UK banking group and market-leading cross-border FX and payments firm seeking a VP - Operational Risk Manager.Job Description

The VP - Operational Risk Manager will:Support the Head of Operational Risk in the independent oversight of operational risk across the bank.Enhance the Operational Risk Management Framework and its components, including RCSA, incident management, and scenario analysis.Provide oversight and challenge to RCSAs and risk assessments related to new products and initiatives.Standardize and communicate policies and procedures owned by the second line of defense (2LoD), ensuring understanding and compliance across the bank.Engage with the first line of defense (1LoD) to ensure adherence to standards and guidelines.Train and educate the 1LoD to embed the Operational Risk Management Policy within their areas.Prepare risk committee and board papers, including management of audit and control weaknesses.The Successful Applicant

Requirements include:Professional or industry qualification such as IOR, IRM, or equivalent.Deep knowledge of the UK financial services regulatory framework.Several years of senior risk management experience.Experience with Enterprise Risk Management Frameworks and various risk types, including financial crime, credit, liquidity, and conduct.Extensive operational risk expertise.What''s on Offer
