They are seeking a VP of Finance to lead and shape the finance function as the company scales, balancing hands-on operational finance with strategic commercial leadership, partnering with the CEO, Board, and investors.This is an exciting opportunity for a finance leader who can balance hands-on operational finance with strategic commercial leadership, partnering with the CEO, Board, and investors while shaping the future of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

Own the design and leadership of the finance function, building scalable processes and systems.Oversee all core financial operations, including reporting, forecasting, and audit, while managing outsourced finance partners.Deliver robust board reporting, budgets, and financial models to support decision-making and fundraising.Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team, embedding finance into the commercial and operational fabric of the business.Build strong relationships with investors, supporting the ongoing funding round and future capital raising.Drive cost efficiencies and embed financial discipline to support long-term growth.

What background should you have

A qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).Experience within a VC/PE-backed, high-growth business, ideally in manufacturing, tech, or climate-related sectors.Strong technical foundations with a track record of managing reporting, forecasting, and audits.Commercial acumen with the ability to influence at CEO, Board, and investor level.Comfortable leading outsourced teams and embedding scalable finance systems and processes.A proactive, hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic, mission-driven scale-up environment.
