Volunteer Co Ordinator

Working with children and young people to be safe, happy, healthy and hopeful. Barnardos Mentora is recruiting a Volunteer Coordinator to join our team! Can you coach and mentor families and individuals through a process of change? Do you have knowledge and experience of working within safeguarding procedures? The Mentora Service is part of Barnardos Newport Connect. It provides support to children, young people and families across Newport, through a bank of fully trained volunteers. They deliver fun and informative Family Hubs, with the addition of offering a121 Befriending service. In this rewarding role, you will establish, develop and sustain volunteering services to meet project and operational needs. You will play a key part in recruiting, supporting and developing volunteers, ensuring they have a positive and meaningful volunteering experience while helping to deliver high-quality services.
