By training trusted adults in schools, the organisation helps children build the resilience and emotional tools they need to thrive in education and in life. The role Volunteer Buddies provide weekly check-ins with children who need extra support, giving them a meaningful break from the classroom, helping them feel more regulated, and enabling them to return to learning ready to engage. Care to Grow Buddy What we''re looking for A genuine passion for improving children''s mental health and wellbeing Experience caring for, working, or volunteering with children or young people formal or informal, including raising your own children Commitment to one 2.15 hour session each week for at least one full term and a half - sessions are flexible and can fit around school hours or other commitments.
