Void SupervisorLocation: Liverpool Salary: 35,000- 37,000 per annum + company vehicle Employment Type: PermanentThe OpportunityWe are working with an established roofing and property maintenance contractor to recruit an experienced Voids Supervisor for its social housing contract in Liverpool.This is a hands-on supervisory position responsible for managing the turnaround of vacant properties, ensuring each home is repaired, refurbished and ready for occupation within the required timeframe.You will coordinate directly employed operatives and subcontractors, monitor work across multiple properties and maintain regular communication with the client. The role requires someone who can keep programmes moving, quickly resolve issues and maintain high standards of quality, safety and record-keeping.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and allocate work to operatives in line with void programmes and target completion dates.Visit properties regularly to inspect progress, productivity, workmanship and health and safety compliance.Supervise directly employed tradespeople and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.Carry out quality inspections throughout the works and before handover.Identify defects, incomplete tasks or remedial work and coordinate their completion.Price and code works accuratelyRecognise work that falls outside the original scope and submit variation requests with clear descriptions, costings and photographic evidence.Monitor day-to-day compliance, ..... full job details .....
