Duties of the Void Surveyor: Carry out inspections of vacant properties and assess any repair, maintenance, or compliance requirements to prepare homes for reoccupation. Produce detailed scopes of work and raise orders in accordance with approved budgets and financial procedures. Liaise with contractors and service providers to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standard. Monitor projects through regular site visits, undertaking quality assurance checks throughout the lifecycle of works. Verify that properties meet agreed re-letting standards and are ready for occupation within target timescales. Coordinate and oversee completion of all relevant safety and compliance obligations prior to occupation, including certification and statutory inspections.
