About the Role

Pertemps Birmingham Commercial seeks experienced VNA Drivers for a full-time post in Tyburn, Birmingham. Working at a distribution centre serving pharmaceutical clients, the successful candidate will operate Very Narrow Aisle trucks, put away inbound stock, replenish picking locations and pick orders accurately. Shifts rotate across 06:00-14:00, 15:00-23:00 and 22:00-06:00, with pay between £13.54 and £18.00 per hour depending on the shift worked. Applicants should hold a current VNA licence and demonstrate careful attention to safety, quality and compliance standards. Prior warehouse experience within logistics or a regulated sector would prove advantageous for this position.

About the RoleWe are recruiting experienced VNA Drivers to join a leading logistics and distribution company specialising in the storage and distribution of pharmaceutical products.
Working within a modern, fast-paced distribution centre, you will play a key role in ensuring products are stored, picked, and replenished accurately while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Operate a VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) truck safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
Put away inbound stock into designated warehouse locations.
Replenish picking locations to ensure operational efficiency.
Pick customer orders accurately using RF scanners and warehouse systems.
Load and unload vehicles as required.
Carry out stock movements, inventory checks, and cycle counts.
Ensure products are handled in accordance with pharmaceutical quality standards.
Report damaged stock, shortages, or discrepancies promptly.

Skills & ExperienceEssential

Valid and accredited VNA licence (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent).
Previous experience operating a VNA truck within a warehouse or distribution environment.
Experience working in a fast-paced logistics operation.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work towards productivity and quality targets.
Good communication skills.
Flexible to work rotating morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
