The WC ensures that all works are executed to the highest standards while supporting programme objectives and continuous improvement across the siteAs Electrical Works Controller, you will: Manage, control and oversee electrical construction activities in line with CDM, procedures, client requirements and site licence conditions. Support the Construction Manager in the safe and effective delivery of construction activities. Develop, review and support approval of Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) and manage associated changes. Lead effective task start-ups and pre-job briefings, ensuring teams understand the scope, risks and controls. Promote a strong health and safety culture and ensure accidents, incidents and near misses are reported appropriately. Liaise with key client stakeholders, including Health, Protection and Safety (HPandS). Verify that personnel are Suitably Qualified and Experienced Persons (SQEP) and identify any competency, training or resource gaps.
