Following a major programme of upgrades, platform modernisation and hardware refreshes, they''re now looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of the virtualisation estate and help drive operational excellence.This is an excellent opportunity for a VMware specialist with Nutanix experience to join a highly skilled infrastructure team and play a key role in maintaining, optimising and evolving a business-critical platform.The RoleYou''ll be responsible for the day-to-day ownership of the VMware and Nutanix environments, ensuring they remain secure, resilient and performing at their best. Alongside platform administration, you''ll provide technical leadership, produce high-quality documentation and support the wider infrastructure team through knowledge sharing and best practice.Key ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of the VMware and Nutanix infrastructure.Maintain platform health, performance and availability.Plan and implement VMware, Nutanix, firmware and infrastructure upgrades.Perform patching, lifecycle management and proactive maintenance.Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and act as the senior technical escalation point.Produce and maintain ..... full job details .....
