Job Title: VMware Infrastructure Consultant Location: UK (Hybrid, once per week onsite - Manchester and/or Leeds) Contract: Initial 3 Month Contract Rate: 675 - 750 Per Day DOE (Inside IR35) I am working with one of our longstanding clients who have a fantastic reputation as a leading technology and services provider. Currently, they are looking for an experienced VMware Infrastructure Consultant to support a large-scale network and infrastructure migration programme for a leading UK financial services organisation. This role will focus on analysing network traffic, mapping application dependencies, and supporting migration readiness across an existing VMware estate, using tools such as VMware Aria Operations for Networks. Key Responsibilities Analyse network traffic and communication flows within a VMware environmentMap application dependencies across servers, services, and network pathsIdentify risks, bottlenecks, and constraints ahead of migrationSupport the definition of migration waves and workload sequencingProduce clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholdersWork closely with infrastructure, network, and project teams to support migration planning Key Experience Required Strong experience within VMware environments, including vSphere and ideally NSXHands-on experience with VMware Aria Operations for Networks or similar network visibility toolsExperience analysing network traffic, flows, and application dependenciesProven experience ..... full job details .....
