About the Role

A Senior Visual C++ Software Engineer is required on a permanent basis in Waltham Cross. This role involves taking ownership of designs from initial specification through to verified software, with extensive test and verification duties. Key responsibilities include developing responsive, real-time graphical user interfaces using C and C++. Essential skills include fluency in C++, experience with OpenGL, GUI, UX, or HCI, and proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio (ideally 2022 or 2026). Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell is also needed. Candidates should hold an upper first or higher degree in a relevant subject. The salary ranges from £52,000 to £68,000 per annum.

C and C++ Senior Software Engineer required with Microsoft Visual C++ or MSVC experience ideally with OpenGL or other rich GUI knowledge required to join a large team. You will work towards the ownership of a design from requirement specification through to verified software including extensive test and verification.
Requirements
Excellent C++ fluency and experience.
OpenGL, GUI, UX or HCI exposure using C and C++.
Microsoft Visual Studio experience ideally up to 2022 or 2026 versions.
Scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell or related.
Upper first or higher degree in a relevant subject.
