We are looking for Visitor Experience and Engagement Facilitators to join our team on a permanent basis.Where in Wellcome will I be working?

You will be working as part of the Visitor Experience and Engagement team at Wellcome Collection, which is at the heart of Wellcome''s work. The team ensures visitors engage with everything Wellcome Collection has to offer through a high-quality, interactive and multi-layered experience, including pre-visit information, in-venue interaction, and post-visit feedback.

What will I be doing?

Provide a consistently excellent experience, ensuring visitors have a safe and enjoyable visit.

Research, develop and deliver high quality and innovative engagement sessions including tours, talks and creative workshops that inspire curiosity and reflect on life, health and wellbeing.

Act as an active ambassador for Wellcome, engaging diverse audiences with the museum and library''s collections, exhibitions and themes, as well as Wellcome''s work in science, research and innovations.

Fulfil back-of-house administrative duties, such as correspondence (feedback and enquiries), group tour bookings, ticket sales, leaflet management, information resource management and visitor insight reporting.

Invigilate the galleries and be present on post at all times to support visitor needs.

Develop inclusion and diversity awareness and skills to facilitate access for all visitors, in line with best practice.

Provide an interpretative role for visitors in galleries, encouraging interaction and engagement with content, and answering questions as fully as possible.

Is this role for me?This role is ideal for individuals with public-facing experience in customer or visitor-centric environments, with significant experience in public speaking, facilitation, or teaching. You should be able to manage varied tasks such as delivering engaging sessions and acting as a fire marshal during emergencies. The role requires flexibility to work on a rota across all days, including evenings and bank holidays, to meet operational requirements. You should be able to communicate complex information creatively and accessibly to diverse audiences and perform IT-related administrative duties (e.g., handling correspondence and visitor insights).

As an ambassador for Wellcome, you will engage a broad audience through museum and library content and activities, contributing to Wellcome Collection''s mission to explore health through exhibitions and collections. Minimum Criteria

Demonstrable experience of taking an audience- and outcome-focused approach with a proven capacity to think innovatively and creatively, and a willingness to experiment with new approaches.

Capable of acting as a fire marshal in case of emergency evacuation.
