It is hoped that the successful applicant would encourage and support their pupils in performing in school ensembles, concerts and events throughout the school year, in addition to individual teaching. The role is self-employed and reports to the Director of Music. The appointee will be expected to work independently and show considerable initiative. This post is initially for one year from September 2026 to cover a sabbatical, however there is the possibility of this being made permanent if pupil numbers demand this. About the role : Plan and teach well-structured, engaging and effective lessons that motivate, inspire and improve pupil attainment (technique, aural skills, music theory).
