• Job Type: Hybrid (Office, Home, and Field) Temp full time until end of September 2026 with possible extension
• Location: Leatherhead or Haywards Heath
• Salary: -19.36 PAYE per hour or -24.56 umbrella per hour

We are seeking a Visiting Available Homes Officer. This role is ideal for someone with a proactive mindset and the ability to drive, as it requires regular travel across Brighton and Chichester. The primary goal is to minimise the time properties remain vacant by ensuring they are let swiftly while maintaining a high-quality service to our customers.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Conducting property inspections, viewings, and sign-ups across local regions.
• Performing various administrative tasks and showing flexibility to cover different duties as needed.
• Working from home, the office, and in the field, with frequent travel required across specified regions.
• Ensuring properties are ready for new tenants and facilitating the letting process to reduce vacancy times.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Prior experience within a housing association or local authority
• Must be a driver with access to a car.
• Excellent team working skills and a positive, proactive approach.
• Ability to contribute ideas for operational improvements.
• Flexibility to handle various tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the designated regions.
• This position is subject to Basic Criminal Record Check Clearance.
