      <description>Location: Sussex | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Temporary | Temporary Vineyard Workers - Vine Tucking (Shoot Tucking/Shoot Positioning) Location: Alfriston, East Sussex We are looking for 15 temporary vineyard workers to assist with tucking vines into the wires at a busy vineyard near Eastbourne, East Sussex.  The Role:  Tucking growing vines into supporting wires Lifting and separating growing vine shoots Tuck the shoots between pairs of trellis wires called catch wires to keep the canopy upright. Prevent shoots from flopping over, improve airflow and sunlight , to make spraying and harvesting easier. Working outdoors in all weather conditions Following instructions from the vineyard team Helping maintain the vineyard during the growing season  Requirements:  Reliable and hardworking Comfortable carrying out physical outdoor work Able to work as part of a team Own transport is preferred due to the rural location and it not being accessible via public transport  Please note there will be regular breaks but please dress appropriately as the weather in the UK is very hot at present, so you will definitely need sun cream, lots of water and there will be regular breaks.   Duration: approx. 1 week - starting Monday 13th July 2026</description>
