Video Engineer

Video Engineer paying 35,000 p.a Fully home-based. A great opportunity has arisen for a technically minded Video Engineer to join a growing, fully remote technology business.Working within the Customer Experience team, you will connect customer support, product development, engineering and technical content creation. You will help deliver, quality-check and troubleshoot video content across television and digital platforms, ensuring consistently high technical standards.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an interest in video and broadcast engineering who wants to develop their technical knowledge while gaining hands-on experience with professional quality-control, transcoding and media-management tools.You will work closely with customers, technical partners and internal engineering teams to resolve issues, configure media workflows and identify opportunities to improve automation. You will also explore how AI and emerging technologies could increase the team''s efficiency and delivery capability.Key responsibilitiesProvide technical support to customers and partners, resolving streaming, encoding, transcoding and video-quality issues.Manage customer support tickets and technical queries to a high standard and within agreed timescales.Assist with the day-to-day support of Telestream Vidchecker and Vantage products, escalating complex issues when required.Help create, maintain and update video quality-control profiles using tools such as Vidchecker.Create and ..... full job details .....
