Contract Role - Vice President andamp; Senior VP Java Equities - London/Hybrid - 12 months initial We''re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President andamp; Senior VP Java to join our Equities Engineering team in Execution Services PlatformRole Overview:* Job Title: Vice President andamp; Senior VP Java Equities* Location: London/Hybrid (4 days onsite per week)* Contract Type: Contract * Duration: 12 months initial* Rate: £900-1000/day UMB OR £759.49-843.88/day + holidays (20 days + 8 bank holidays pro rata) PAYE* 10+ years of experience designing, building, and delivering Real Time, scalable, and resilient software applications within Financial Services or similarly complex, high-throughput domains.* Core Backend Proficiency: Deep expertise in Java and the Spring ecosystem - including Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data, and ORM frameworks - with a strong focus on building production-grade, enterprise-scale services.* Frontend Development: Proficiency in modern Front End technologies including Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML/CSS, with working knowledge of jQuery and component-based UI architecture.* Data andamp; Persistence: Strong command of relational and analytical database technologies, eg, Oracle/Microsoft SQL Server, with experience in data modelling, query optimization, and large-scale data management.* Messaging andamp; Middleware: Hands-on experience with messaging and Middleware technologies such as Apache Kafka, IBM ..... full job details .....
