We''re seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our dynamic team on a permanent basis. The role offers a well-balanced caseload between medicine and surgery. We support career development through continuous training and education, including certificate qualifications. You’ll work with an experienced vet and a new graduate, so some sole charge is required. If you join us on a full-time basis, you’ll be split evenly between our New Hall and Edrington practices. Part-time roles can be exclusively at New Hall. A welcome bonus of £5000 (pro rata) is available for new hires, with relocation support up to £5000 for those who require it. You’ll be supported by a senior team including Jenny Mitchell (Clinical Director) and Michelle Toulouse (Practice Director).Rota and hours40 hours per week over Monday to Friday. There are no weekend or out-of-hours requirements for this role.About the role and responsibilities
Provide veterinary medical and surgical care with a balanced caseload.Work across two practices (New Hall and Edrington) with split-time assignments; part-time roles based at New Hall.Deliver clinical care with some sole-charge responsibilities for appropriate cases.Engage in ongoing learning and career development, including pursuing certificate qualifications with support from the team.Collaborate with a senior team and diverse colleagues to ensure high-quality patient care.About us
We are an encouraging group that funds certificates and supports further learning. The team holds monthly vet meetings and maintains clinical discussion channels. Our clinics have designated nursing Branch Leads to enable veterinarians to focus on clinical work, while management opportunities exist for those who are interested. Our group comprises PSS-accredited clinics with long-standing presence in the TVC group, offering standard lab/surgical/dental facilities and access to dental x-ray/ultrasound/ophthalmic and orthopaedic equipment across the group.Benefits and development
