Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal

Overview
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a small animal vet to join our friendly and supportive team at MBM Vets. Salary up to £65,000 DOE, plus Relocation Allowance up to £5,000. Shifts are a mixture of consult-only, surgery and consultations or hospital work. You will mainly be based at our Kilmarnock branch, with shifts at Mauchline and Beith possible. 15-minute consultations as standard, with 30 minutes for new patients, bandage changes or trickier cases. Up to 40 hours per week across 4 or 5 days with a 1:3 Saturday rota (8:00am-1:00pm) and no OOH, though part-time hours can be considered. We are a VetsNow OOH host practice, enabling in-house 24-hour care when needed.MBM Veterinary Group is a large, friendly, long-established practice with branches in Kilmarnock, Mauchline and Beith. Our team provides small animal, equine and farm services and offers a wide range of in-house diagnostics and procedures.Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality small animal veterinary service with confidence in consultations, routine surgery and in-patient care; a consult-only role can be accommodated if preferred.Work across branches as required, maintaining client and patient relationships and ensuring efficient case work-ups.Support the team with in-house diagnostics and treatments using available equipment and lab facilities.Qualifications and Experience
