Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal

Overview
We’re excited to offer a unique and flexible opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and forward-thinking team across two well-established practices: Hall Place Veterinary Centre in Maidenhead and Cherry Tree Veterinary Practice in High Wycombe. This shared role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their working day – offering the best of both worlds: the clinical challenge of a hospital-style environment with advanced facilities at Hall Place, and the rewarding connection of a village-style practice embedded in the local community at Cherry Tree. Up to £75,000 DOE, relocation allowance up to £5,000, welcome bonus up to £5,000. Hospital Facilities and Community Practice | Flexible Working | No OOH or Bank Holidays | Supportive, Experienced Team
The Role
Your week will be a mixture of consulting and surgery, with some sole charge. You’ll enjoy a 4-day week with weekends on a shared rota, and no out-of-hours or bank holiday work. We’re open to discussing part-time options to fit around your lifestyle and commitments. You’ll be working alongside a 13-vet team, including several certificate holders in surgery, internal medicine, and cardiology, offering ample support, collaboration, and clinical growth.
About The Practices
Hall Place Vets – A multi-site practice centred around a converted barn in Pinkney’s Green, surrounded by Berkshire countryside. The hospital and branches offer excellent facilities including laparoscopy, endoscopy and arthroscopy; digital x-ray, ultrasound, and video otoscopy; dedicated dental suite with dental x-ray; isolation facilities, slit lamp, tonopen and more; air-conditioned throughout.
Cherry Tree Vets – Located in High Wycombe, a well-loved village practice with a loyal client base and strong ties to the community. This is an environment to connect with clients while maintaining high clinical standards, ideal for vets who value continuity of care and relationship-based practice.
