OverviewVeterinary Surgeon - Small Animal role at IVC Evidensia UK. Based at our RCVS-accredited hospital in Loanhead, with occasional work at a branch practice. Salary up to £65,000 DOE plus up to £2,500 Relocation Allowance. The role offers a varied caseload including consultations, surgery, and inpatient care, allowing you to develop and apply skills across all areas of small animal practice. Responsibilities
Provide high-quality patient care across small animal practice, including consultations, surgery, diagnostics, and inpatient care.
Collaborate with the hospital team and participate in in-house emergency service; share out-of-hours and weekend cover as part of a self-managed rota.
Support training and development in areas such as laparoscopic surgery; contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Maintain hospital standards and work within an RCVS-accredited environment to deliver excellent clinical care.
Working patternIdeally a full-time role, typically based on a four-day working week (40 hours). Flexibility with rota patterns and the option for additional night work for those with an interest in emergency and critical care. We aim to find a pattern that fits the team and lifestyle.

Requirements
Qualified Veterinary Surgeon with enthusiasm for small animal practice and client/patient care excellence.
Ability to work well in a team-based environment; interest in emergency and critical care is welcome.
Experience in a clinical hospital setting is advantageous; willingness to develop skills across diagnostics, surgery, and in-patient care.
