Salary up to £65,000 DOE, up to £5,000 Welcome Bonus Plus up to £5,000 Relocation Allowance.We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join us at Towerwood Vets in Cookridge, West Yorkshire. You will have access to a varied caseload including a mix of consults and surgery, which can be weighted to your preferences. There is no out of hours with this role; the ideal candidate would take a share in the weekend rota which is currently 1 in 6 (9-6 Saturday, 9-12 Sunday). A full time role would involve working 40 hours per week. We’re happy to support part time applications as well.About the team and facilities

Our team is composed of 7 full time Vets, 10 RVNs, 3 ACAs and 4 SVNs, with a Practice Manager and dedicated reception. We have a certificate holder in imaging, and our Clinical Director is a member of the faculty of Homeopathy. We offer wellbeing initiatives, regular development discussions, and CPD funding for the right candidate.Facilities include 5 fully equipped rooms for general consults, a dedicated theatre, separate wards for cats and dogs, a dedicated feline waiting area, and a second branch with two consult rooms, recovery kennels, prep and theatre.We are situated in picturesque North West Leeds with excellent travel links and easy access to Leeds, Harrogate and York.Responsibilities

Manage a varied caseload with a mix of consults and surgical cases, aligned with your preferences.Participate in diary management and flexible rota planning to support work-life balance.Be part of a weekend rota (1 in 6) with no out-of-hours obligations; full-time role is 40 hours per week; part-time applications considered.Qualifications and requirements
