Vertical Turner / Vertical Borer Job DescriptionProgramme, set and operate Vertical Turning / Boring machinesMachine low-volume, high-integrity components to tight tolerancesWork with a range of materials including nickel alloys, titanium, stainless steels, aluminium and carbon steelsProve out new programs and support continuous improvement activitiesInterpret engineering drawings and manufacturing documentationCarry out in-process inspection using a variety of measuring equipmentComplete route cards and production paperwork accuratelyMaintain high housekeeping and safety standardsCarry out routine machine maintenance checks Vertical Turner / Vertical Borer Qualifications and SkillsApprentice trained, Time Served or NVQ Level 3 qualified in EngineeringPrevious experience programming, setting and operating Vertical Borers or Vertical TurnersStrong understanding of engineering ..... full job details .....
