Due to continued growth, they are looking to strengthen their machining team with the addition of a skilled machinist who can programme, set and operate vertical turning and boring machines. Vertical Turner / Vertical BorerJob Description Programme, set and operate Vertical Turning / Boring machines Machine low-volume, high-integrity components to tight tolerances Work with a range of materials including nickel alloys, titanium, stainless steels, aluminium and carbon steels Prove out new programs and support continuous improvement activities Interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation Carry out in-process inspection using a variety of measuring equipment Complete route cards and production paperwork accurately Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards Carry out routine machine maintenance checks Vertical Turner / Vertical BorerQualifications and Skills Apprentice trained, Time Served or NVQ Level 3 qualified in Engineering Previous experience programming, setting and operating Vertical Borers or Vertical Turners Strong understanding of ..... full job details .....
