CNC TurnerPay: 17.82- 21.17 per hour, negotiable depending on skills and experienceHours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am-4:30pm; Friday, 7:30am-12:30pmContract: Permanent, full-time - 39 hours per week We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to join a well-established precision engineering company manufacturing components for the automotive, aerospace and defence industries.This role involves vertical turning and boring of low-volume, high-integrity components ranging from approximately 0.6 to 2.2 metres in diameter. The RoleProgramming, setting and operating CNC machinesProving out new programmesMachining high-integrity components to precise tolerancesWorking with nickel alloys, stainless steel, titanium, aluminium and carbon steelReading and interpreting complex engineering drawingsUsing workshop measuring equipmentCompleting in-cycle deburring where requiredFollowing route card instructions and completing documentation accuratelyCarrying out periodic equipment maintenance checksIdentifying opportunities to improve processesMaintaining a clean and organised working environment The CandidateApprenticeship trained, time-served or qualified to NVQ Level 3 or aboveA minimum of three years'' experience within a precision machining rolePrevious vertical turning or boring experienceExperience working to high-precision tolerancesConfident working with a wide range of materialsFanuc or Siemens control experience is preferredExperience within the nuclear, power generation or ..... full job details .....
