We are recruiting on behalf of our client who are a leading Manufacturing company based in Brownhills that are looking to expand their workforce and recruiting for a skilled and experienced Manaul Lathe Operator with Vertical Borer experience. We are seeking a skilled manual lathe turner to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating Manual turning lathes to produce precision parts and components, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the machining process. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment. Operate manual Centre lathes machines and other related equipment to manufacture parts according to specifications. Operating a vertical borer with precision working with tight tolerance. Set up tooling and fixtures for production runs, and one offs ensuring all materials are handled safely and effectively. Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. Perform routine start up checks on machinery and report any issues to the supervisor. Assemble components as required, utilising hand tools and basic maths skills for accurate measurements. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
