Ventilation Engineer

Job title: Ventilation EngineerOverview:We are recruiting an experienced Ventilation Engineer to join a busy team delivering installation, maintenance and commissioning of domestic and light-commercial ventilation systems. The role involves working on MVHR, MEV and PIV systems across multiple sites, ensuring safe, compliant and high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.Key responsibilities:- Install, maintain MVHR, MEV and PIV systems to specification and industry standards- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs and fault diagnosis- Test, balance and commission ventilation systems and complete associated certification and paperwork- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, installation guidance and health and safety requirements- Liaise with clients, site teams and other trades to coordinate works and handover systems- Maintain accurate service records, job sheets and reports- Contribute to continuous improvement and support training and mentoring where requiredEssential skills and qualifications:- Demonstrable experience in the installation, commissioning and maintenance of MVHR, MEV and PIV systems- Certification or proven competency in domestic ventilation systems (BPEC Domestic Ventilation or similar highly regarded)- Relevant NVQ or technical qualification in Ventilation, Plumbing, Building Services or equivalent is desired- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail- Good communication skills ..... full job details .....
