Ventilation Engineer (MVHR / PIV / HVAC Engineer)
Location: London & Surrounding Areas (Field-Based)
Salary: -38,000 - -40,000 DOE
CV-Library is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Ventilation Engineer / HVAC Engineer on behalf of a growing and reputable engineering services company specialising in ventilation, HVAC, and air management systems across residential and commercial properties.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with strong knowledge of MVHR, PIV systems, and ventilation fans, looking to join a forward-thinking business offering long-term career progression, training, and stability.
The Role
Working across London and surrounding areas, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and commissioning of a range of ventilation systems. This is a field-based role suited to someone who enjoys hands-on engineering work, fault finding, and managing jobs independently across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, and commission MVHR systems
- Install and maintain PIV systems
- Work on ventilation fans including VIVID, inline, and centrifugal units
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to ventilation systems
- Install and service MEV systems and extraction units
- Carry out ductwork installations, upgrades, and modifications
- Perform airflow testing and system balancing
- Complete electrical works including wiring, fault finding, and safe isolation
- Ensure all work complies with UK Building Regulations and Health & Safety standards
- Complete job sheets and reports accurately
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Ventilation Engineer, HVAC Engineer, or similar
- Strong working knowledge of MVHR and PIV systems
- Experience with ventilation fans and air movement systems
- Electrical experience/knowledge is essential
- Good understanding of airflow, ducting, and balancing systems
- NVQ Level 2/3 in HVAC, Ventilation, or similar (preferred)
- 18th Edition qualification (desirable)
- PASMA / IPAF (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
