      <description>Location: Runcorn | Salary: &amp;pound;36800 - &amp;pound;43000/annum | Type: Permanent | MS710 - Vehicle Workshop Technician     Location:  Runcorn   Salary:  £36,800 - £43,000 per annum    Overview:  First Military Recruitment are currently seeking an Vehicle Workshop Technician on behalf of one of our clients.   Duties and Responsibilities:    Carry out inspection, diagnosis, servicing and repair of vehicles, trailers and plant equipment.  Work within the workshop or via Mobile Service Vehicles (MSVs) as required.  Perform maintenance in line with manufacturer guidelines and DVSA standards.  Complete all work to a minimum MOT standard.  Use diagnostic equipment to identify electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults.  Test functionality of vehicle systems and components.  Deliver cost-effective repairs within agreed budgets.  Complete job cards and maintenance records using tablets/PDA devices.  Conduct road tests to confirm safety and performance.  Provide roadside support and breakdown assistance when required.    Skills and Qualifications:   Essential:   City &amp; Guilds or NVQ in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair.
