Vehicle Technicians

Description

E-ppl Ltd is recruiting a dedicated team of Vehicle Technicians to deliver a critical fleet maintenance package at our Ashchurch site. Working as part of an autonomous E-ppl team under an outcomes-based package of work, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational readiness, safety, and regulatory compliance of Stored and Sustainment Fleet platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspection & Servicing:-Carry out diagnostic inspections, routine servicing, and repairs on designated vehicle platforms.
• Rectification & Prep:-Perform follow-on maintenance to ensure safety and full compliance ahead of Mandatory Equipment Inspections.
• Fleet Upgrades:-Bring vehicles up to required operational standards.
• Quality Assurance:-Execute reworks and rectify defects identified during examination stages.
• Safety First:-Maintain strict adherence to site Health & Safety policies at all times.

Requirements

• Security Clearance:-Must be willing to undergo BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) checks. E-ppl will fully sponsor and manage this process.
• Experience:-Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician (military, commercial, or fleet experience is highly desirable).
• Qualifications:-Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Skills:-Strong diagnostic capabilities and familiarity with fleet asset tracking.
• PPE:-Ability to provide your own standard coveralls and safety footwear.

Benefits

Competitive Pay:19.00 per hour

Working Pattern:-39 hours per week (Monday to Friday), with flexibility for overtime and shift variations as needed

Daily Allowance:25.00 tax-free per day to cover expenses and meals-(location-dependent)

Hotel Lodging:-Fully funded hotel accommodation provided-(location-dependent)

Travel Expense:-45p per mile mileage allowance, calculated from your location-(capped up to the Evo-to-Stockport route)
