Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester 47.5 hours per week Monday-Friday - 8am-6pm Currently Saturdays - 8am-1pm (These are negotiable) Salary £35,000 - £50,000 dependent on experience/skill set Holiday allowance 22 + bank holidays Pension nest Uniform provided - Polos/T-Shirts and Jumpers Duties of a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester: MOT Testing Servicing Diagnostic work General maintenance and repairs Brakes checks and changes (pads and discs) Suspension work Road testing vehicles after repair Repairing and replacing wheel bearings, alternators, and head gaskets MOT Prep and Post MOT repairs Change tyres, complete puncture repairs, wheel alignment and balancing Repairing and replacing exhausts, steering racks, and water pumps Oil changes and part changes e.g. Filters Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester Requirements: Ideally have an NVQ/City and Guilds/IMI certifications required to Level 2/3 or be time served with 5+ years within the industry MUST have a current valid MOT Tester certificate MUST hold a full valid driver license - No major driving convictions DD, DR, IN Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service.
