Are you a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic with experience as a certified MOT tester or similar with an NVQ Level 2 or 3 eager to work in an expanding family business that wants to continue building the right team and in it for the long run?

On offer is the opportunity to progress as a vehicle technician with an opportunity to develop towards becoming a head technician provided with long term support. The potential to gain qualifications paid for by the company and the chance to go on paid for courses.

In this role you will need to follow all safety guidelines and protocols when working on a range of vehicles. Confidently be able to diagnose faults both mechanically and electronically and carry out repairs on a variety of faults. Perform MOTs on vehicles and keep a record of all repair and maintenance work that has been carried out.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of vehicles and a deep mechanical knowledge that has at least a few years'' experience and is able to hit the ground running. Looking for an MOT tester and a confident diagnostician able to work on a number of vehicle faults. Someone that puts an emphasis on a high standard of customer care and assuredly manages the needs of clients with a good level of communication skills.

The Role:

• Identify any potential safety issues and carry out vehicle inspections
• Safely utilise a variety of tools
• 30 - 5.30 Monday to Friday
• 2hrs overtime per week if required with the potential to do more

The Person:

• Vehicle maintenance and automotive repair
• Level 2 + NVQ or similar
• Local to Chippenham
