Location: Salisbury
Salary: £36,000 basic | OTE up to £40,000 (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm (42.5 hours per week) + Saturday mornings on a rota.

The Role

We''re looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Car Technician to join a busy, successful dealership in Salisbury. You''ll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities of the Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Car Technician:

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and technical faults.
• Complete inspections, testing and quality checks.
• Perform complex repairs, including engine, transmission and electrical work.
• Use the latest diagnostic equipment and software.
• Complete all documentation accurately, including warranty paperwork.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service.

Experience needed for the Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Car Technician:

• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent).
• At least 2 years'' experience as a qualified Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Car Technician
• Previous main dealer or automotive retailer experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
