Vehicle Technician Salary: 40,000- 45,000 per annum, depending on experience Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm Job Type: Permanent About the roleAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a Level 3 Vehicle Technician to join a well-established independent garage with a strong reputation and a loyal customer base.The garage services, maintains, diagnoses and repairs a wide range of vehicles, providing customers with a complete automotive service. Due to continued growth and an expanding customer base, they are looking to add an experienced technician to the team.This is a genuinely varied, hands-on position where no two days will be the same. You will work across a wide range of makes and models, carrying out everything from routine servicing and maintenance through to diagnostics and more complex mechanical repairs.The role would suit a technician who enjoys variety, takes pride in their workmanship and is confident working independently while also being part of a small, friendly team.Key responsibilitiesCarry out routine servicing and vehicle maintenance.Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.Carry out fault finding and identify the cause of vehicle issues.Complete general mechanical repairs and maintenance.Carry out brake, suspension and steering repairs.Replace clutches, timing belts and timing chains.Carry out engine and cooling system repairs.Diagnose and repair exhaust and emissions-related issues.Carry out battery, starting and charging ..... full job details .....
