Vehicle Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our main dealer team in Harlow due to a recent retirement As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to the repair, maintenance and servicing of vehicles of all makes and models. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work with power tools and diagnostic equipment. You will need your own tools and a full driving licence. Level 3 or above at imi / nvq or similar certification. You must also hold a right to work in the relevant sector as we do not offer a work sponsorship for this role Duties of a Vehicle Technician - Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks according to established guidelines - Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using appropriate tools and equipment - Inspect vehicles for damage or defects and recommend necessary repairs - Maintain accurate records of all work performed on vehicles - Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient workflow - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns Skills: - Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for vehicle repairs - Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail This is a full-time position Monday- Friday 08.30 - 17.30 and Saturday mornings on a team rota 1 in 3.
