About the Role

A Vehicle Technician position is available in Daventry, offered by Pertemps Daventry on a full-time, permanent basis. The hourly rate is £15.00. You will service, maintain, and repair diverse vehicle makes and models within a modern, fully equipped workshop. Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, recommending suitable repairs, and performing MOT testing if you hold the relevant qualification. Maintaining precise service records and ensuring all work meets DVSA and health and safety regulations are core duties. The role provides access to ongoing training, overtime opportunities, and clear routes for career advancement. Pertemps Daventry is currently recruiting on behalf of a fantastic client for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their growing team in Daventry.

The Role as a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of vehicle makes and models while ensuring all work is completed safely and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
Diagnose vehicle faults and recommend appropriate repairs.
Perform MOT testing if qualified.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety and DVSA standards.
Work collaboratively as part of a professional workshop team.
Work on a range of different vehicle makes and models.

What We're Looking For

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
A positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
