Vehicle Technician

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within an independent garage located in Wimbledon.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Duties:

- Repairing cylinder heads and gaskets
- Replacing complex cambelts and gearboxes
- Changing clutches
- Undertaking class IV and VII MOT tests in line with DVSA standards if qualified 
- Servicing vehicles and undertaking general repairs such as brakes and suspension
- Handling larger and heavier jobs within the workshop
- Managing multiple makes and models from various manufacturers

Requirements:

- Proven experience working in an independent garage environment
- Strong technical skills with a track record of completing repairs efficiently
- Competent and confident in diagnosing vehicle issues
- Hold current MOT Tester certification or be willing to undertake MOT training
- Passionate about delivering high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The salary of this role is up to £40,000 basic with OTE of £43,000.
