Vehicle Technician

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a large franchise-approved car dealer group located in Newcastle Emlyn.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

- Basic salary up to £34,000 per annum, depending on experience and current earnings.
- Generous performance-related bonus scheme of up to £3,600-7,200 per annum. 
- All overtime is paid additionally at a 1.25x rate.
- 20 days annual leave plus the 8 bank holidays, increasing after 5 years to 23 days.

- If not currently MOT qualified, our client will put the successful candidate through their class 4 MOT license.

- Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm, with 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am-1:00pm paid at 1.25x.

Duties of the Vehicle Technician include but are not limited to:

- Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
- MOT Testing
- Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
- Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards

Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:

- A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence
- Dedicated and committed approach.
- Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.
- Your own Vehicle Technician tools

The salary of this role is up to £34,000 basic with OTE of £41,200.
Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role are: Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm with 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am-1:00pm paid at 1.25x.
