Vehicle Technician

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician/Vehicle Mechanic within a Main Car Dealer located in Basildon.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

- Basic Salary Ranges up to £35,00.00 basic p.a.
- Bonus Opportunity OTE up to £50,000.00 depending on your efficiency.

Duties:

- Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
- Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
- Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards

Requirements:

- A professional and stable track record as a Vehicle Technician.
- NVQ/City and Guilds certifications required (Equivalent certifications can be accepted to a level 3 standard).
- Hold a valid UK manual driving license with no more than 3 points
- Ability to provide a friendly customer service and always maintain a professional appearance.
- Flexible and willing to learn and adapt to new responsibilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to use the diagnostic equipment
- MOT Tester would be an advantage but not essential.
- You must hold a UK manual driving licence with no more than 3 points.

The salary of this role is up to £35,000 basic with OTE of £50,000.

Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.00pm and 1 in 3 Saturdays worked 8.00am-1.00pm.
