Our client, a reputable independent garage in Kettering, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their well-established team. Key benefits of the Vehicle Technician: Competitive salary up to £40,000, dependent on experience and qualifications Monday to Friday working hours, 8:30am - 5:30pm, with no weekend work Opportunity to attain further training and qualifications, including MOT Tester licence Every weekend off to support work-life balance Company pension scheme Employee discounts and parts discounts Free MOT testing for staff On-site parking Supportive and friendly working environment Duties of the Vehicle Technician: Conduct servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on a wide range of vehicles Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment Perform MOT testing and related repairs where qualified Replace brakes, tyres, cambelts, clutches, and perform engine repairs Undertake gearbox replacements and associated repairs Diagnose and repair air conditioning systems, including re-gassing Carry out welding and general mechanical repairs as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment Complete accurate documentation and clearly communicate work requirements Requirements of the Vehicle Technician: At least 3 years'' experience as a Vehicle Technician Strong diagnostic and ..... full job details .....
