Vehicle Technician

Our client, an established independent garage based in Southampton, Hampshire, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their growing team.

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

• Conduct routine vehicle servicing and repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards
• Carry out brake, clutch, and timing belt replacements and repairs
• Strip and rebuild engines and gearboxes
• Diagnose faults using computer hardware and diagnostic software
• Maintain workshop standards consistently
• Ensure accurate recording of work completed as a-Vehicle Technician
• Support continuous improvement and team collaboration

Requirements:

• Proven automotive repair experience
• NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent; time-served individuals considered
• Full UK driving license
• Methodical and detail-oriented approach to vehicle repairs
• MOT testing license highly desirable
• Enthusiastic, approachable, and proactive attitude
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
