Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

• Conduct scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, brake checks, and tyre replacements
• Diagnose and repair vehicle faults, including engine, transmission, exhaust, and electrical systems
• Ensure all repairs and servicing are completed in line with industry safety and quality standards
• Communicate efficiently with customers, explaining repairs and associated costs clearly
• Record all work accurately and complete service documentation
• Utilise advanced diagnostic tools and stay up-to-date with automotive technology
• Adhere to all health and safety policies to maintain a safe working environment

Requirements:

• Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Technician
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostic procedures
• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively independently and within a team
• Passion for automotive technology and continuous professional development
